Another two pieces of news regarding Full Tilt Poker’s re-emergence have hit the web this week and caused a flurry of posts on poker forum TwoPlusTwo. The first was started when a poster learnt from Solocheck.ie that Laurent Tapie, Managing Director of FTP salvager Groupe Bernard Tapie (GBT), is registered as the Director of a new company incorporated in Ireland on February 4, 2012, which has since changed its name to New Full Tilt Ltd on April 11. There were also reports from posters that suggested a Maltese company under the same name was created but the official registration pages were down at the time of writing.
The other piece of potentially good FTP news came when the operational ‘green’ System Status was briefly up on FullTiltPoker.eu. It reportedly displayed 411 players online at various points in time over the last days. However, whether this was just simply a bug, miss-click or an indication of the testing of FTP’s servers is anyone’s guess.
